NUS Students' Design and Engineering Club

The College of Design and Engineering (CDE) was merged officially in the year of 2022, bringing together two world-class institutions at National University of Singapore, the Faculty of Engineering and the School of Design and Environment.

CDE builds on the legacy and achievements that were previously achieved by the 2 noble institutions, together with every student, staff, helper that have made it possible.

NUS STUDENTS' DESIGN & ENVIRONMENT CLUB

NUS Students’ Design & Environment (DE) Club is the official faculty club representing the undergraduates of the School of Design & Environment. Providing for the various aspects of the students’ life such as Academics, Career Planning, Welfare and Student Vibrancy, DE Club strives to consociate Design & Environment undergraduates into an amazing university campus life through a diversity of events and collaborative initiatives with the faculty department and subsidiary clubs and societies.

Over the years, DE Club has been a vital gateway between students and the companies in our niche industry. By actively engaging industry players to build relationships and social networks, platforms and opportunities are made available for students to understand and develop themselves into the next generation of professional industry leaders and contributors of Singapore.

NUS STUDENTS' ENGINEERING CLUB

Established in 1976, the NUS Students’ Engineering Club is the official faculty club and sole union representative of all undergraduates in the Faculty of Engineering. Engin Club, as it is popularly known, is highly regarded for its vital role in the academic and student lives of about 6,000 full-time Engineering undergraduates, working closely with the faculty administration to provide the best for our fellow students.

Each academic year, a new Management Committee is elected to facilitate the various activities that seek to enhance the students’ experiences beyond academic pursuits. Besides being the voice of the student body, Engin Club strives to connect to all Engineering undergraduates through our vibrant initiatives and collaboration with the other engineering subsidiary clubs and societies, as well as the faculty department.

The merger of the 2 is a beautiful coalescence of the 2 unique spectrums of study, up to a total of 14 courses of study available. The journey as a college has just begun and we hope to keep every academic year in memory, including the people who have served, events that we have collectively participated in and the college that we take pride in.
